So much has happened in the last couple of weeks. We have all been doing good and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My parents, my brother and his wife, and Randy's dad and step-mom came up for dinner. We deep fried a turkey again this year, and it turned out great! Last year was not so great doing it, but we had a smaller turkey this time and some practice. It was a beautiful day in the high 30's/low 40's, so not too cold for Randy outside. Wesley looked so cute in his Thanksgiving outfit!

I took Wesley to the Doctor's office on the 24th to discover he had an ear infection. He had been tugging at his ear for a couple of days, but not crying so we figured he just found his ear. But then that morning, he started crying when he did it, so it was a trip to the doctor's. He did great when we were there. He was weighed and he now weighs 13lbs 8.3oz! We will found out tomorrow how long he is when he goes in for his four month shots. I am hoping he does well with those and sleeps the entire day afterward like he did last time. I am not crossing my fingers, though as he was only a month old at his last shots.
He has also been having more solid food to eat. He had pears, bananas and carrots. He loved the carrots and ate them up quickly. He did not like the pears so much but he ate them, too. He made the cutest faces when we would give him something new to try! I never realized how much fun it would be to give a baby his first foods and see his reactions!
That is all for now. We are going to get our Christmas tree this week and will be taking Wesley to see Santa for the first time. I can't wait!

He is so cute! I still can't believe that we haven't seen him yet...hopefully soon!

I love the picture with the deep fryer cooking in the background!
